Jason was the most incredible dj for our wedding on the Mornington peninsula! We found him through fako events , communication from both were amazing! Jason did everything we requested for the wedding and more , he even took the time to video special parts of the reception set up before quests arrived and also even more special moments from throughout the night! Jason was hands down one of the highlights of our wedding! He had our dance floor lit from the beginning and just kept rolling out the tunes! Music is a huge part of our lives and we had told Jason we wanted our wedding dance floor to be reminiscent of the R&B club vibes from back in the day (2008ish) and man did he deliver. We shopped around a bit for a wedding DJ and were not disappointed when we came across Jason. He absolutely brought the best vibes to our wedding and the dance floor was always pumping, which is exactly what we wanted. Leading up to the big day, he was very receptive to all of our music requests and knew exactly what to play at the right time. Very friendly and easy to talk to. On the actual wedding day he was already set up and ready to go well before the festivities started and was already knowledgeable about exactly what needed to be played at the right times, I felt like I didn't need to even think about the music side of things at all and felt like our wedding reception was in good hands. Logistically he was perfect, only requiring a small area to set up his equipment leaving plenty of room for dancing. His bumping in and out was almost instantaneous, truly a professional who has done this many times before. Also, the price was extremely reasonable compared to others we had seen. Companies were charging almost triple what Jason asks for, and they had a less personal, more corporate touch to their dealings, whereas Jason felt like a friend who genuinely wanted to have a good party and you could tell he enjoyed his work and had a good time doing it. As mentioned before, when the party started, it never stopped, all of my guests said how much fun they had on the dance floor, the vibes were perfect and Jason was pumping everyone up on the mic during big song moments, I wouldn't change anything! If looking for a wedding DJ or for any type of event really, I would 100% recommend DJ Jason Hoesty, his personality combined with his expertise of the craft means your event will be a party to remember!
